5 day tour
AROUND THE SCOTTISH MAINLAND
BE PREPARED TO RIDE

Leaving Linlithgow we ride north to Dornoch with an overnight stay in a castle hotel. Then John o' Groats to Dunnet head – mainland Britain's most northerly point. Next day west along to Tongue and overnight in an old shooting lodge hotel.

We pass Durness and Cape Wrath then down the west coast with its spectacular scenery and wonderful biking roads. Overnight in my home town of Gairloch in a hotel beside the sea looking westwards to Skye.

Now riding south we pass beautiful Loch Maree, through Glen Torridon and over the famous Pass of the Cattle – the highest road in Scotland. The last night is spent in a traditional inn at the edge of a loch. Finally we ride down through Glen Coe returning to Linlithgow.

Quite an achievement – don't just dream – do it!
