8 day tour - THE SHETLAND ISLES
60 DEGREES NORTH LAND OF THE SIMMER DIM

On our first day we ride north to Aberdeen and board the overnight ferry arriving in Shetland at 0800hrs. Then it is off to visit one of Scotland's remotest islands, the Out Skerries, population 70.

We will spend two days there – loads of surprises – we are nearer Norway than Scotland. Arriving back on mainland Shetland we enjoy the long summer days – the simmer dim (twilight) – when it never really gets dark.

We continue to explore these fascinating islands on wonderful biking roads. So much history, we are transported back in time. Fantastic wildlife amongst land and water where oceans meet. Bird and sea life – killer whales, otters, puffins – it would take a book to describe this incredible Adventure on these dramatic islands.

Come along and write the book yourself! Be one of the first to take a bike on the remote Out Skerries and experience traditional Shetland hospitality.
